Day Three of India-Bangladesh Kanpur Test called off

After just 35 overs in the first two days, day three of the Kanpur Test between India and Bangladesh has been called off as well.




No play was possible for the second consecutive day in the second India-Bangladesh Test at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. Rain restricted day one to just 35 overs, while it completely wiped out day two. The city suffered incessant rains overnight, but there had been no rains since the morning of day three. 


Despite that, the umpires have deemed that the ground isn't in a fit enough conditions for play to continue, calling off play during their 2 pm inspection.


Bangladesh are currently 107-3, having been put into bat on the first day by India.
